What you'll do AdaptWest is a Regional Climate Partnership (AdaptWest RCP) between the cities of West Torrens, Charles Sturt and Port Adelaide Enfield. As the AdaptWest Regional Coordinator you will oversee the implementation of the AdaptWest Regional Climate Action Plan (AdaptWest RCAP), under the guidance of the Program Management Group (PMG). You will be based within the City of West Torrens's Sustainability Team but will also work closely with the other partner councils. With your excellent project management and communication skills, you will deliver impactful projects that build resilience across both natural and built environments for the three councils. In addition, you will work with Green Adelaide to achieve satisfactory implementation of the Grant Funding Agreement and Sector Agreement. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinating the administration of the Program Management Group meetings, including preparation of agenda and minutes and other reporting as required. Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework and report regularly on the delivery of the AdaptWest RCAP Raise the profile of the AdaptWest RCP and seek funding opportunities to contribute to delivery of initiatives within the Action Plan. Who you are If you have experience in managing projects or activities and possess strong communications skills, you could make a valuable contribution to the AdaptWest RCP. While formal qualifications in environmental management, science, sustainability, engineering, planning, or project management are preferred, we will also consider applicants with extensive skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the position’s objectives and responsibilities, regardless of formal training. In addition, in accordance with the requirements of this role, a National Police Clearance and a current Class C Driver's Licence will be required as part of the recruitment process.
