The Role We're seeking a motivated Poultry Shed Attendant to join a large-scale poultry operation in Turallin, QLD. This is a hands-on role in the poultry industry, where you'll be working in a busy farm environment that values animal welfare, cleanliness, and safety. You'll manage shed operations, care for the birds, and work independently across multiple sheds. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll play an important part in maintaining animal welfare and ensuring smooth daily shed operations, including: Checking bird health and wellbeing, including humane disposal of any sick birds Collecting eggs and operating the egg packing machine Cleaning and maintaining equipment, machinery, and sheds Driving a manual ute between sheds Carrying out other tasks as directed by the 3supervisor Benefits $30.35 per hour with good working hours Minimum 6 months, ongoing for the right person Training and support provided to develop poultry husbandry skills Opportunity to build experience with a respected agribusiness Your Skills & Experience You're reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working on your own.
