As an Operations Team Leader, you’ll be the vital link between our frontline workforce and management—balancing people leadership, operational planning, and client service delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support a team of Traffic Controllers to achieve high performance and compliance. Oversee daily scheduling, resourcing, and deployment of crews. Ensure compliance with safety, legislative, and company policies. Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations. Provide hands-on operational support when required. Drive efficiency, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across operations. Must Have Criteria To be successful in this role, you will bring: Holds a WA C Class driver's licence Holds a White Card (or willing to obtain) Leadership Experience – Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising and leading 40 people Industry Background – Previous experience working in either the construction, transport, security, retail or hospitality industry Safety Focus – Focused on safe work habits, culture & practices with strong history of safety awareness Technical Proficiency – Very strong computer skills and ability to use various software programs daily to document operational information including using Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel Communication Skills – Demonstrated strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the confidence to deal with a variety of people on a daily basis. You will be required to document in electronic task management and operating systems daily. Performance Management – Demonstrated experience with performance management processes. Problem-Solving – Demonstrated strong logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who approaches challenges with a clear, structured, and analytical mindset and can "think outside the box" to generate innovative and making well-reasoned solutions.
