Gilmac is Australia's top hay exporter, handling a quarter of the country's hay exports across three states, with major markets in Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan. A casual position is available for a seasonal weighbridge clerk and sample preparation at our Balaklava Site. This position requires a sound level of computer skills, good communication, and flexible availability to match in with seasonal requirements during harvest. Your responsibilities will include: Weighbridge operations, communicating with truck drivers and processing hay deliveries. Be involved in our hay sampling and classification processes. Assisting with administration duties. Time management and organisational skills are highly desired. Some days may require extended hours to ensure we meet growers needs. Successful applicants will: Have Microsoft Office experience. Have a driver’s license. Have a commitment to quality and excellent attention to detail. Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug screen. Have a willingness to work varied days/hours according to seasonal requirements.
