About the Role Emerald is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of our global supply chain operations across a diverse product portfolio—air conditioning, heat pumps, energy storage, and smart technology devices. In this critical role, you’ll oversee international and domestic logistics and inventory management while building a resilient supply chain that supports Emerald’s rapid growth and product integration roadmap. You’ll work closely with international suppliers, local logistics partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure that our supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with our mission to deliver smarter, more sustainable technology to Australian homes and businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute leader with deep supplier management experience and a strong track record of driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Strategic Supply Chain Management – Develop and execute strategies to support business growth, build resilience, and optimise demand forecasting. Inventory & Stock Management – Lead stock ordering, optimise inventory levels, and monitor forecasts to balance customer demand with working capital. Logistics & Operations – Oversee international and domestic logistics, including freight forwarders, customs clearance, and 3PL partners; manage a team of five staff to deliver on-time performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Product, R&D, Finance, and Sales teams to align supply chain with launches, demand planning, and resolution of supply-related issues. Data, Systems & Reporting – Implement best-in-class systems for visibility and forecasting, and track KPIs such as lead times, landed cost, DIFOT, and supplier performance. About You 5 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations (HVAC, energy, or electronics background desirable). Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills. Experience in freight, logistics, and 3PL management within the Australian market. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills. Leadership experience managing both teams and external partners. Proficiency with ERP and inventory management systems. Personal attributes: Hands-on, proactive, commercially astute, detail-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
