About the role As the successful applicant, the Mechanic/Stripper & Fitter will perform repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles. Your duties will include but not be limited to: performance upgrades ( incl. clutch, fuel system, suspension and exhaust ) aftermarket accessory & parts installation/modification where needed dismantling vehicle parts, fault-finding & diagnostic work parts assessment, cataloguing and storage reassembly of vehicles with new parts and/or reconditioned mechanical electrical parts assisting apprentices and trades assistants where needed. About you To be successful in this role, you will need the following: Full Australian working rights essential ( we unfortunately cannot provide sponsorship at this time ) Automotive Mechanic qualifications or proven equivalent experience essential Exceptional knowledge of vehicle assembly, mechanical electrical components and vehicle stripping/refitting Current driver’s licence essential Own hand tools required ( specialty tools will be provided ) Fabrication experience desirable .
