We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media and Marketing Content Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing, Communications and Engagement team in a temporary full-time capacity throughout 2026, covering a staff member on extended leave. Reporting to the Marketing Production and Communications Manager, this role is responsible for creating and implementing engaging digital content that reflects Ravenswood’s distinct brand and supports our strategic marketing, communications, and enrolment objectives. Key Responsibilities: Curate, plan and publish engaging content across Ravenswood’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) Track and report on social media performance using analytics tools Coordinate and update content for internal digital channels including the intranet and on-campus digital signage Capture and edit photography and video content for events and campaigns (in-house and with suppliers) Write briefs and manage external suppliers including photographers, videographers, and media agencies Support brand initiatives including branded merchandise and banner designs Assist the Events team with event-related tasks and administration Collaborate across departments to ensure content aligns with Ravenswood’s brand, values and mission About You: You are a confident communicator and digital storyteller with a passion for creating content that connects. You bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience in social media content creation, planning and production Strong written communication skills tailored for digital platforms Experience using analytics to measure and optimise content performance Ability to capture and edit visual content (photography and video) Experience briefing and managing creative suppliers Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities A collaborative, flexible and proactive approach Creativity, innovation and a keen eye for detail A strong understanding of digital trends and tools This is a temporary full-time role commencing in early 2026 for a period of 12 months. There may be the opportunity for a handover in December 2025 with the current staff member, depending on the availability of the successful candidate.
