(pro rata) RN/M3| Part time 16 hours per week - Ongoing! The Division of Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Palliative Care are looking for a Nurse Educator to join the team! About the Role: A Great opportunity to join the team in Rehabilitation, Aged Care & Palliative Care within SALHN as a Nurse Educator. In this role the Nurse educator will use their clinical knowledge and experience to provide a corporate support service to nursing practice, which may include but not be limited to areas such as the provision of a range of education, training, learning experiences and materials. To be successful in this role: Ability to develop, coordinate and deliver education programs and conduct appropriate evaluations of the programs. Innovation, creativity and flexibility that can be applied to an education setting within healthcare. Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation. Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads. About you: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Holds, or working towards tertiary qualification/s in Education – (minimum Cert IV, Training and Assessment, or equivalent). Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience. Must have current South Australian driver’s licence and willingness to drive a government plated vehicle when travelling for work to various SALHN sites.
