Your Role as Learning and Development Advisor You will support the effective delivery and administration of learning initiatives across WMQ. The role is responsible for the assignment and management of required learning through WMQ’s Learning Management System (Workday), ensuring accuracy of education records, and supporting the documentation and coordination of the Learning Council. In this role you will works closely with leaders, employees, and other stakeholders to ensure learning programs are effectively implemented, compliance requirements are met, and opportunities for workforce development are well supported. You’ll deliver administration of learning initiatives by: Coordinating the assignment, tracking, and management of required (mandatory) learning in WMQL’s Learning Management system (Workday), ensuring data integrity and compliance. Supporting leaders and employees in the use of Workday LMS, including troubleshooting, reporting, and monitoring completion of assigned learning. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date education records to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, internal policy, and reporting requirements. Preparing and maintaining documentation for the Learning Council, including agendas, minutes, actions, and supporting papers, and assisting with the coordination of related activities as outlined in the Learning Council Terms of Reference. Assisting in the coordination of required learning opportunities, including liaising with internal and external providers, and ensuring learning outcomes are captured and reported. Supporting an organisation-wide Training Needs Analysis by collecting data through surveys and consultation with employees and leaders Supporting Instructional Designer in the creation and refining of engaging on-line learning content Assisting with the coordination and reporting of compliance training across WMQ, including preparation of reports for senior leaders Actioning enquiries received through the Halo ticketing system in a timely manner, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. Providing day-to-day support to the Learning and Development team and contributing to continuous improvement of learning processes, systems, and practices. What We’re Looking For Demonstrated experience in the coordination and administration of learning and development programs in a medium to large organisation. Experience using Learning Management Systems (preferably Workday), including assigning learning, maintaining records, and generating reports Knowledge of adult learning principles and approaches to workplace learning. Familiarity with governance structures and processes, such as learning councils or committees, including documentation and action tracking. A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have! Experience managing service enquiries through a ticketing system (e.g., Halo) with a focus on meeting SLAs.
