RMIT Online is seeking a Learning & Teaching Transformation Specialist to lead the charge in transforming online education for working adults. This role is pivotal in delivering innovative, future-focused learning experiences that align with RMITO's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities for this position are: Work with L&T Manager to design and manage capability-building programs in digital pedagogies, learning technologies and online facilitation with a focus on providing best in class learning experiences for the working adult market. Provide insights and advice on innovative delivery models and techniques for various learning products and markets. Analyse and interpret learning analytics to inform strategies and actions. Establish and implement innovative pedagogical frameworks to transform the student learning experience in various online learning products and markets. Translate and implement pedagogical innovation in both the award and non-award offerings Work internally with key stakeholders (e.g. Learning Experience Design) to improve processes, feedback loops, and ways of working to impact on the student experience Oversee the evaluation, adoption, change management and scaling of key educational technologies and digital pedagogies, such as Generative AI (GenAI), inline with RMIT/O Gen AI policy for teaching staff Engage in key RMIT forums to represent RMITO (eg. Communities of Practice) Lead research engagements for improving the learning experience – e.g. Staff Student Consultation Committee Co-design new innovative pedagogies through our pool of high performing online facilitators To be successful in this position you will have: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline Demonstrated excellence in leading, influencing and supporting academics, educators or tutors in online modes of delivery. Substantial experience in driving pedagogical excellence, and delivering professional development or training targeting academics, educators or tutors in online facilitation, innovative delivery techniques – including adoption and change management around new technologies. Specialised knowledge and skills in the use of learning technologies and digital pedagogies to enhance student success and outcomes. Demonstrable organisational and project management skills, and the ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines. Excellent conceptual, analytical and communication skills including the ability to synthesise and communicate requirements, and write reports targeting a specific readership.
