Reporting to the Communication Manager, you will c reate compelling stories that inspire supporters and the public to take action and support Caritas Australia programs . Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Plan and lead content collection trips, working with overseas partners and local creatives. Travel overseas and within Australia to capture photography, videography, and compelling stories from the field and fundraising events. Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to provide high-quality video and photo content for campaigns. Organise and maintain content systems, keeping all photos, videos, and stories up to date and ready for use. Support the creation of story-based content, including blogs and other engaging communications. This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week. Who are we looking for? The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to Caritas Australia’s mission to end poverty and injustice by promoting human dignity for all, as well as a dedication to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching that guide our global efforts. They will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience: A can-do attitude with strong emotional intelligence to engage respectfully with vulnerable communities and people from diverse cultural backgrounds (field experience desirable). Strong experience in video editing, photography, writing and content development, creating content that drives fundraising and brand awareness. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with excellent project management, communication and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality content on time.
