Reporting to the Property, Fleet and Facilities Manager , you will source trade service providers and suppliers and manage the regular maintenance accounts. The role is based in Newcastle . You will look after the geographical regions of: Hunter, Mid North Coast and Far North Coast . Key Responsibilities: Manage the maintenance and repairs of all New Horizons owned and leased properties to ensure they are cost effective and of a high standard. Respond to repair and maintenance requests in a timely manner. Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities and process work assignments Oversee scheduled maintenance, ensuring safety and compliance with policies and regulations. Assist in monitoring contractors and their work performance and timeliness of the completion of their work Provide vendor performance feedback. Complete routine property inspections Establish and maintain a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely support of repairs and maintenance. Manage reactive and preventative maintenance programs, including scheduling and quality inspections. Deploy and maintain assets, ensuring WHS compliance. Execute asset disposal plans per standards. Continuously improve processes and efficiencies with stakeholders. Maintain information in the Facilities Management and Procurement systems. You will have: Demonstrated experience in a similar role, coordinating maintenance/repairs of properties Demonstrated experience in sourcing and coordinating trade service providers Understanding of WHS practices Good understanding of building services Experience with Facilities Management, Procurement and Asset Management systems (preferred) Strong planning and organisation skills to prioritise and meet deadlines Benefits: New Horizons pays above the award & penalty rates Salary packaging of up to $15,900 in tax-free pay, plus an entertainment card to package an additional $2,650.
