About the Position: The Commercial Housekeeper role at Abode Property Management involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of properties across Darwin, Palmerston, and rural areas to ensure they meet the company’s high standards. This full-time position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual to perform a range of cleaning and property care tasks, contributing to an exceptional experience for tenants and property owners. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out cleaning tasks within buildings and surrounding outdoor areas. Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpets; and cleaning curtains, upholstery, and furniture. Dusting and polishing fixtures, fittings, and household furnishings. Collecting rubbish, emptying bins, and transferring waste to disposal areas. Replenishing minibars and restocking items such as glassware, stationery, linens, and basic groceries. Stripping, remaking beds, and replacing bed linen. Cleaning kitchens, including washing dishes and utensils, and sanitizing appliances, cupboards, counters, pantries, and floors. Sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and repairing linen and clothing. Preparing and cooking meals, setting tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing dining areas afterwards. Caring for pets and plants, receiving guests, answering phone calls, passing on messages, and purchasing groceries as required. Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: Must meet one of the following: hold a relevant qualification equivalent to an AQF Certificate I, have completed compulsory secondary education, or have completed relevant on-the-job training.
