Requires: Essential qualifications in fabrication with expert skills in aluminium systems, glazing extrusions, and trade drawing interpretation. Salary guide: $90,000 – $100,000 per annum. Location: Northern suburbs of Townsville, Queensland. Your normal day will involve: Fabricating commercial and residential aluminium windows, doors and bi-folds to precise specifications. Loading trucks and managing site deliveries alongside packing prepared orders. Interpreting and reviewing detailed glazing trade drawings to ensure product quality and specifications are met. Collaborating with measurement and estimating teams to resolve technical fabrication queries. Applying knowledge of glazing extrusions from Capral, Alspec, and related systems for accurate assembly. Mentoring and guiding junior fabricators and leading production workflow schedules. Ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and quality control processes within the workshop. Maintaining organised work areas and precise records of fabricated components. Working closely with site teams to accommodate project timelines and specifications.
