Develop and maintain Test and Evaluation Strategies, Master Plans, and related documentation under agile delivery methodology. Coordinate risk management, verification, and validation activities. Apply continuous improvement to Test & Evaluation and Verification & Validation methodologies for novel program execution strategy. Provide expert advice on T&E processes, frameworks, and best practices. Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to ensure integrated delivery of program objectives. About our Team Seeking an EL 1 T&E Manager to join a dynamic and complex developmental system which will place Australia at the very forefront of technological achievement for Integrated Air and Missile Defence Systems (IAMD). As a ADSB EL 1 T&E Engineering Manager within Air Defence Systems Branch, you will be working on a multi-layered System-of-Systems architecture applying cutting-edge technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence) to enable a Joint Force that is better able to operate independently and co-operatively with our like-minded Allies and Coalition Partners. You will play a critical role in managing program Test and Evaluation outcomes through provision of consistent engineering guidance, development of T&E related artefacts, coordination of T&E program allocated resources and oversight across the AIR6500 Series projects delivering against an agile cadence into the collaborative engagement network. Ideally, the candidate is Canberra (ACT) or Adelaide (SA) based, however other locations will be considered if regular DSN access is available. Our Ideal Candidate Extensive experience in test and evaluation within complex system environments. Strong knowledge of T&E frameworks, strategies, and lifecycle application. Proven ability to develop and implement T&E plans and strategies. Experience providing professional advice related to system assurance and certification. Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks with limited supervision. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Extensive and relevant Defence experience in test and evaluation. Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering and capability delivery processes.
