Overview Senior Business Partner – Finance position based in Perth, WA. Full-time, permanent role at Westgold Resources’ Perth Head Office. This role partners with operational and corporate teams across gold mining operations to provide strategic financial insights and robust reporting frameworks. Responsibilities Partner with key stakeholders across operational sites and corporate functions to deliver financial insights and support decision-making. Lead and execute end-of-month reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial reports. Manage day-to-day accounting activities for both site and corporate entities, including general ledger reconciliations. Reconcile stock models and ensure alignment with operational data. Provide financial oversight and analysis of mine capital expenditure, rehabilitation provisions, and amortisation schedules. Maintain a strong understanding of gold mill accounting practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans. About You A proactive team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline with a major in Accounting or Finance. Full professional membership with CA ANZ or CPA Australia. Significant experience in the mining industry, preferably within gold operations.
