Role Summary: Apollo Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Welfare and Wellbeing Officer (WWO) to join our team. As a WWO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the care and support of employees recruited from the Pacific Islands under the Federal Government’s Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Program (PALM Scheme). Your mission? To make sure everyone has a wonderful experience while working directly with us. Responsibilities: Arrival and Departure Assistance : You’ll assist workers with the arrival and departure requirements in line with the PALM scheme program. Transport Support : Ensuring transport is suitable, safe, reliable, and affordable for our workers. Problem Solving : Assisting workers in solving social, emotional, and financial problems. Referral Network : Connecting workers with relevant agencies that can provide additional help. Qualifications & requirements: Desirable Qualification : Cert 3 Leisure and Lifestyle NDIS Clearance : Required (or willing to obtain) Knowledge & Experience: Experience assisting people into Australian communities. Excellent communication skills (spoken and written). Ability to work with sensitive information confidentially and with integrity. Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively with various stakeholders. Familiarity with diverse backgrounds. Strong reporting and administration skills. Other Requirements: Driver’s License : Essential, with own reliable vehicle. Flexibility : Available for out-of-hours calls and worker welfare concerns. Availability : Willing to be contacted 24/7 (with rostered time off) to build strong relationships with the group.
