THE OPPORTUNITY Our client WALLABY STORAGE is one of Melbourne’s fastest growing independent self-storage operators offering premium modern facilities, high standards of customer service and friendly work environments. ABOUT THE ROLE Due to recent expansion into the inner Melbourne suburb of Abbotsford our client now offers a unique opportunity for you to become part of their store management team. The role offers autonomy and responsibility to the right person, backed up by dedicated, ongoing and experienced management support. Previous self-storage experience is not necessary. Sales experience, however, will be highly regarded and full training will be given at the company's flagship facility in Moorabbin. This role is ideally suited to a local resident who:- has good knowledge of areas surrounding Abbotsford has a genuine passion for providing memorable customer service and support enjoys a mix of hands-on operational and customer-facing tasks has enthusiasm and a great attitude to work displays solid attention to detail and the ability to multi-task can demonstrate proven computer and literacy skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software has strong communication skills with the ability to solve problems, resolve conflict and build lasting customer relationships. WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE This is an interesting and varied Mon-Fri role which will draw on your excellent customer service, admin and sales skills as you:- handle enquiries with a smile from existing and new customers, and provide excellent customer service. maintain accurate customer and inventory records in our systems manage monthly rental collection and overdue accounts in line with procedures ensure the facility is clean, safe and well-presented at all times. be the face of the business by delivering friendly, confident customer care. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE To be successful in this role you will need a range of practical skills and experience including:- prior experience in an office environment where customer satisfaction is paramount fast accurate typing experience in retail or customer-facing industries flawless written and spoken English a clear, confident telephone manner strong admin and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office experience in (or an aptitude to learn/use/update) our CRM software. A valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle. As well as the above, we are looking for a number of "soft" skills that will set you apart.
