About the role The Speech Pathologist will assist a predominantly paediatric caseload (18 months - 16 years of age), and will contain early intervention for speech, language, literacy, auditory processing, articulation and fluency clients. Your duties will include but not be limited to: providing high-quality assessment and treatment to patients with communication difficulties delivering speech therapy intervention administering evidence-based assessments writing reports and communications on a-daily-basis to a high standard providing treatment through all modes of service delivery as required (Clinic F2F, Telehealth, school/home visits as required) About you To be successful in this role, you will need the following: Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible) Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) Current National Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain) Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain) Private Guild Insurance as a private practitioner (basic cover $2 million) Driver's licence and own car (Travel 0-20%) Excellent time-management and organisational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop strong rapport & connection with children, families / carers & health team. Ability to work as part of a team and have a growth mindset. Therapy should be engaging & fun….you can ' play' & think 'on your feet'. Client Free Friday afternoons for PD, supervision, and time to consolidate your week. End your week organised and relaxed and go home early. Scheduled note & planning time for all clients daily. Client Care Admin takes care of all client bookings, invoicing & general communications (you focus on being a Speech Pathologist). Business training for continual improvement in providing optimal standards of service and working as a team.
