Whether your passion lies in: Assessment and intervention for sensory processing, emotional regulation and self-management. Early intervention, school-readiness and play-based skill building. Daily living independence: dressing, personal care, mealtimes and toileting goals. Fine & gross motor development, handwriting and functional play. Assistive technology, equipment prescription and seating/positioning recommendations. Complex care planning and collaborative, multidisciplinary goal-setting (NDIS-aligned). Family-centred coaching and capacity-building with carers, educators and support workers. Community participation - supported transitions to school, extracurriculars and recreation. We’ll back you to shape a caseload that lights you up - and make an impact in the areas that matter most to you. A bit about you: You’re an OT with three or more solid years of experience under your belt, confident in your skills but still curious, reflective and eager to grow. You know what areas of paeds energise you, and which ones don’t. You value honesty, flexibility, and doing work that genuinely makes a difference for kids and their families. You’re open to shaping something, not just slotting in. You believe in child-led care, real outcomes, and showing up with heart (and ideally, you're comfortable bringing your full, authentic self to the work). What we can offer: A role shaped around what you actually enjoy. There are no cookie-cutter caseloads here. Full-time, part-time or custom-fit - we’ll work with your life, not against it. Realistic KPIs: 5 billable hours per day, with lots of time to build up and settle in. Loads of autonomy, backed by genuine clinical support and a connected, collaborative team. Regular team connection days and non-clinical catch-ups - because showing up for each other matters. PD when you need it, support when you want it - structured supervision and a culture that values depth over hustle . A few things to know up front (because transparency matters to us): We don’t have a clinic space (yet) - we’re mobile and community-based. But what we lack in bricks and mortar, we make up for in connection: regular team days, shared resources, and always someone to message when you need to debrief, celebrate, or vent. We’re still small - but growing. You’re not stepping into a fully formed machine. You’re helping shape what Colab becomes. Your ideas, your input, and your fingerprints will be all over this place (in the best way). We’re values-led and quality-driven. We’ve said no to referrals that didn’t align with our ethics. This includes when asked to stretch the truth on reports. We don’t fudge the facts, and we won’t ask you to either. We prioritise clinical depth over clinical volume. That means realistic KPIs, space for reflection, and backing our OTs to do work that’s thoughtful and effective - not rushed. We’ll be real with you, and we’ll expect the same.
