THRF Group – Parkinson’s are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team as a Nurse Specialist. This role provides individualised clinical care and support to people affected by Parkinson’s, Stroke, Arthritis and other neurological and movement disorders. As a key member of our team, you will: Provide individualised support to people in the community living with Parkinson’s Disease. Facilitate small support groups within Residential Aged Care facilities and the community for people living with Parkinson’s and their families. Host regular education seminars with allied health and medical professionals on Parkinson’s Disease and how to support people living with this condition. Actively promote THRF Group – Parkinson’s services to key stakeholders and the wider community. Connect with consumers, families, support coordinators to maximise client outcomes. What you'll bring to the role: Current AHPRA Registered Nurse with a minimum 5 years’ post graduate experience Experience and/or interest in chronic disease management and movement disorders An understanding of primary and tertiary health care Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team with a flexible positive attitude.
