About the opportunity We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader Streetscape Maintenance to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This fast-paced role is responsible for maintaining our formal gardens, landscaped areas, and high-profile public spaces, including garden beds, roundabouts, and centre medians. The preferred candidate will lead the Maintenance crew in the servicing and maintenance of our premier streetscape areas to ensure a high-level, quality horticultural service is performed and the landscape finish remains safe, attractive and inviting. Qualifications and experience Essential: Formal qualifications in horticulture or related area. Alternatively, extensive experience in these areas of operations Class MR Driver’s Licence Staff Supervision Experience Extensive experience in maintenance of gardens and landscaped areas including annuals, exotic, native, high profile, median, roundabout gardens, etc. Desirable: Chainsaw operation certificate of competence Senior First Aid Certificate RTA approved Traffic Controller Implementation Accreditation. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
