Executive Officer – Greater Hobart Strategic Partnership The Greater Hobart Strategic Partnership is a collaboration between the Greater Hobart Councils-Clarence, Glenorchy, Hobart and Kingborough. The Greater Hobart Councils and the Tasmanian Government are working collaboratively as part of the Greater Hobart Committee to develop a Vision for Greater Hobart. We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking leader with exceptional emotional intelligence, sharp political nous, and outstanding executive skills. Ideally, you possess a solid track record in government or a similar environment, such as a government business enterprise or industry association, where you have operated at a senior level to advocate, negotiate, influence, and achieve results while working with a diverse range of stakeholders. Your background will include extensive experience overseeing partnership initiatives from initial planning right through to implementation, along with the resilience required to manage competing demands and political complexities. This position requires a level of autonomy, adaptability, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to Mayors, Chief Executive Officers, and senior officials at both state and federal government levels. This is a pivotal five-year appointment, predominately based at the City of Hobart offices, but also working from time to time across the other councils. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to city shaping initiatives and priorities for Greater Hobart. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
