YOUR ROLE The Learning Partner, Student Behaviour Programs plays a pivotal role in supporting schools to implement evidence-based practices that promote positive student behaviour, wellbeing, and academic engagement. This role involves working collaboratively with school leadership teams, educators, and support staff to build capacity in developing and sustaining whole-school behaviour support frameworks aligned with the principles of PBL. Job Description WHAT YOU WILL DO Support schools to embed the whole school approaches to behaviour support, education and management including Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and Team Teach Support schools to implement Team Teach and PBL framework into their culture, policies, and practices, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and wellbeing initiatives. Design and facilitate high-impact professional development for educators, leadership teams, and support school staff on Team Teach and PBL implementation Guide schools in developing and implementing Tier 1 (universal), Tier 2 (targeted), and Tier 3 (individualised) supports, including systems to effectively develop and measure functional behaviour assessments and behaviour support plans. Contribute to system-level planning, policy development, and resource creation to strengthen behaviour support across schools and regions. Support schools to adopt and embed the Positive Behaviour for Learning framework as part of their whole-school approach to wellbeing and inclusion. Guide leadership teams in developing and embedding school-wide systems such as expectations, explicit teaching systems, reinforcement systems, a means of responding instructionally and collecting/responding to school-wide behaviour data. ABOUT YOU Demonstrated experience in implementing PBL, SWPBS, or PBIS in a school setting Strong knowledge of and understanding of inclusive education and trauma-informed practices Demonstrated ability to provide high quality impactful professional learning and coaching to support the implementation of whole school programs in schools Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple contexts Demonstrated ability to provide consultancy support to teachers and school leaders to inform the implementation of schoolwide behaviour support programs Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders Salary range for this position is $79,589 (T2/1) - $118,063 (T2/6) per annum exclusive of superannuation as specified in the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 and may include additional allowances dependent on qualifications and experience.
