Description We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Health & Education team and play a key role in managing, overseeing and delivering the contracted outcomes relating to the maintenance of the Sunshine Coast Uni Hospital. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of the trades related work throughout the Health Precinct across the key areas of Mechanical Maintenance Services, Building Services, Electrical Services, Grounds & Gardens and Asset and Lifecycle Maintenance. Ensure all aspects of service delivery performance are monitored and reported, including Zero Harm, quality, commercial, financial, people and customer satisfaction outcomes. Analyse service delivery performance through benchmarking and assessment of various outcomes; use performance information to continuously improve processes and provide relevant, robust performance feedback to Operations and Functional teams. Effectively prioritise work plans and monitor activities. Oversee budgeted expenditure at service line level at SCUH and implement strategies to manage cost/budget variances What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance management or equivalent. Significant experience in a similar role in the building/services industry at a managerial level. Knowledge of maintenance processes and systems and their application in a health and education environment. Demonstrated analytical and project experience within a collaborative working environment, monitoring the required outcomes against a performance-based contract using agreed key performance indicators. Experience in developing and managing service (subcontract) contracts.
