Your role within the team The role of the Assistant Brand Manager will support the team in driving and implementing Swisse brand initiatives across the Adult Nutrition Category on the Swisse brand in Australia. Supports brand and innovation projects by executing plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and learning the fundamentals of brand management. Key responsibilities include: NPD/EPD Projects: Supports key projects, including competitor reviews, data gathering, and task ownership to ensure on-time delivery. Campaign Development: Assists across campaign briefs, execution, asset roll-out, and post-campaign review. Brand Guardianship: Ensures all creative and executional tasks align to brand positioning, values, and guidelines, maintaining consistency across POS, pack, and digital assets. Commercial Support: Assists with budget tracking, invoice processing, sales performance reporting, and inputs for forecasting. Research & Insights : Supports competitive audits, consumer research tasks, and market scans to inform brand strategy. To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: Tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Business Marketing or equivalent). 1–2 years of brand and/or marketing experience within FMCG. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Solid analytical skills and business acumen. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and prepare insights for decision-making. Strong project management and organisational skills. Experience with data analysis tools (i.e. Nielsen, Iqvia, Quantium) and ability to turn data into insights represented in appropriate formats (e.g., graphs, presentations). Experience in financial processes (budget tracking, reconciliations, promotional analysis). Familiarity with brand guidelines and ability to identify “on-brand” vs “off-brand” execution. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, ideally with involvement in NPD or EPD projects and familiarity with the Stage & Gate process. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and ad-hoc tasks simultaneously.
