They are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter OR Carpentry Trade Assistant with knowledge on frames and Truss assembly and installation, to join their thriving business and assist their team on a casual basis. The Role: Read/interpret plans and drawings for the daily manufacturing of timber frame walls, floors, roof cassettes & trusses Material preparation- Select, cut, and shape wood or metal materials accurately according to blueprints and work orders Truss assembly- join precut parts and assemble wooden components to form structurally sound trusses Operate timber machinery safely and proficiently Conduct quality checks Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Criteria: White Card Carpentry qualification including Construction Induction Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of framed construction Strong manual dexterity, precise measurement and cutting skills, and knowledge of building codes Forklift Licence (Desirable) Current Valid Driving licence National Police Clearance & ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Please click APPLY NOW to send your up-to-date resume.
