What we are Looking for: The ideal candidate will have: • A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher) • At least 1 year experience in a similar cooking role Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and season a variety of dishes including soups, entrees, and main courses • Follow and develop recipes that align with our menu and brand • Garnish and present food in an appealing and efficient manner • Estimate food and ingredient requirements to ensure smooth kitchen operations • Manage proper storage of raw materials such as vegetables, meats, spices, and dry goods • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and legal standards at all times What you will bring: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • A flexible attitude and willingness to work weekends and varying shifts • Reliability and a professional approach to punctuality and attendance • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently when needed • A collaborative spirit to contribute positively to our team culture • High energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to consistency and quality What we offer: • A full-time position with a minimum 2-year contract (extendable) • Competitive annual salary of $75,000 – $ 80,000 (based on skills and experience) • Superannuation contributions in line with legal requirements • An inclusive, supportive team environment where your contributions are valued If you're ready to showcase your culinary talent and take the next step in your hospitality career, we would love to hear from you!
