A fantastic and rewarding role that reports to the Manager Quality, Risk and Governance, you'll work with our employees in their full lifecycle of workers compensation claims, injury management and return to work plans. You'll guide and support injured employees with empathy and professionalism, whilst creating a safe place for our employees to return to work safely and successfully. In this role you will ensure compliance with WA Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023 and the WHS Act 2020. Key Responsibilities: Managing workers compensation claims end-to-end, liaising with insurers, medical providers and internal stakeholders Developing and implementing tailored Return to Work plans Maintaining accurate, compliant and confidential records Providing guidance to leaders and employees on injury management best practice Contributing to reporting, trend analysis and continuous improvement of our safety processes Collaborating with WHS, Payroll, HR and operational teams to ensure seamless injury management support What we are looking for: Relevant tertiary qualification in WHS, Injury Management, or related field Proven experience in managing workers’ compensation claims and RTW planning Experience in the health or human services sector is highly desirable but not essential Strong knowledge of WA workers’ compensation legislation and WHS frameworks Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Analytical mindset with ability to track trends and support continuous improvement Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines Benefits we can offer you: Wide range of employee benefits including HBF Health discounts, JBHIFI discounts and Commonwealth Bank product discounts to name a few!
