This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Mayfair Construction team on a full-time basis. In partnership with Hall & Prior, you will oversee the full project life cycle of an exciting and dynamic program of work. You’ll be part of a supportive and fun office environment, with the flexibility and autonomy to thrive in your role. Please note that only applicants based in Perth, Western Australia will be considered. About the Role You will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of construction projects from feasibility through to completion. You will liaise with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, and build strong and trusted partnerships with our clients. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and maintaining project feasibilities, budgets, and monthly progress reports. Attending Project Control Group (PCG) meetings and providing regular updates. Selecting and managing consultants, negotiating terms of engagement, and monitoring performance. Preparing and negotiating construction contracts, and acting as Superintendent under the building contract, including inspections, certifications, and approvals. Coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, and reviewing shop drawings and submissions. Monitoring project delivery to ensure compliance with design, budget, timeframe, and regulatory requirements. Managing the defects and rectification process, final inspections, and post-construction assessments. What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or Property. Strong technical knowledge of building processes, project sequencing, and contract management. Proven success in delivering complex apartment, commercial, or aged care projects on time and within budget. Ability to build strong client and consultant relationships while negotiating effectively with statutory authorities. Previous experience liaising with government agencies will be highly regarded. Excellent leadership and team management skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach. Strong verbal and written communication, including report writing and presentation skills. Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project (or equivalent project management software).
