What is the Role? The School is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Economics / Business Studies teacher to join the Humanities team of committed and professional staff. This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing Term 1, 2026. Who will the successful applicant be? Recent experience in teaching HSC Economics / Business Studies and/or IB Business Management across Years 11 and 12 Ability to teach Stage 5 elective Commerce Willingness to teach Stages 4 and 5 History and Geography Enthusiasm for their subject and the ability to inspire senior secondary age students Knowledge of recent developments in the theory and practice of secondary pedagogy and specifically how this applies to their subject area Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the HSIE team Confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning in the classroom An understanding of and commitment to the School’s Christian mission, values and ethos A detailed position description is attached - top RHS of advertisement.
