As an Associate Adviser, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, tailored financial advice to HNW individuals and family groups. Working closely with a Client Adviser, your responsibilities will include: Preparing strategic advice documents and financial modelling based on adviser briefings Drafting Statements of Advice (SOAs) and supporting material for client meetings Attending client meetings to take detailed file notes and manage follow-up actions Managing client onboarding processes from start to finish Performing portfolio reviews and documenting recommendations Liaising directly with clients, as well as external partners (e.g. accountants, fund managers) Contributing to the implementation of investment and wealth strategies Ensuring all advice and documentation complies with regulatory standards Engaging in ongoing learning to support your professional growth What skills and experience do I need to have? We’re looking for someone who is: Currently part-way through, or recently completed the Professional Year (PY) Or Are you ready to start your PY? Degree-qualified (FASEA approved) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Financial Planning, Commerce, Finance) Equipped with strong technical knowledge of financial planning, modelling, and compliance requirements Ideally experienced in a boutique HNW practice or family office environment (preferred but not essential) Experienced with Xplan (including Client Focus, XTools and IPS) or other financial planning software Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft clear, professional advice documents Client-focused with a proactive mindset and a drive to learn and grow into a future adviser role Sounds great!
