Role details The Hinterland Mental Health Service is seeking applications for a Mental Health Clinician to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity As a member of the Hinterland Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS), this position will deliver high quality evidence based clinical services to consumers presenting with mental health issues in a rural setting. This will include intake/triage, clinical assessments, evidence based therapeutic interventions and treatments as well as case management, group/family work across the service's programs as required. This position reports operationally to the Team Leader, Hinterland Mental Health Service, and professionally reports through the CCS Program Manager/Allied Health Director Mental Health and AODS to Discipline Director in the MHHS. About the Team The Mental Health and AOD Service is comprised of eight clinical teams across the MHHS. The Mental Health Service is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum for people with severe and complex mental health problems. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented and are provided in a variety of settings including community, an acute inpatient unit, hospitals and emergency departments.
