We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to support our recycling operations across Brisbane City Council waste facilities. You’ll assist the Recycle Manager in coordinating recyclable goods, operate Endeavour Foundation trucks, and ensure safe and secure loading/unloading of stock. This is a hands-on role that combines truck driving, customer service, and site coordination. You’ll be the face of Endeavour Foundation at our recycling sites, helping customers sort and dispose of materials responsibly. Key Responsibilities: Operate Endeavour Foundation trucks, completing daily pre-start checks Safely load and unload stock from BCC sites, minimising breakages Unlock/lock onsite containers at the start and end of each day Greet and assist customers, inspecting loads and directing them to appropriate recycling areas Maintain site cleanliness and presentation Report any safety hazards, incidents, or inappropriate activities Provide friendly and accurate customer service to contractors and the public Liaise with council and external stakeholders as needed What You’ll Bring: Current and clean HR Truck Licence (Manual) and Car Licence Proven experience in customer service and manual handling Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work across multiple sites on a rotating basis High standard of personal presentation Commitment to safety and Endeavour Foundation’s values Willingness to undergo relevant security checks and hold a Positive Notice Card Desirable: Experience in recycling or waste management operations Ability to coordinate tasks and delegate effectively Knowledge of WHS procedures and safe manual handling practices Benefits and Perks: Salary Packaging Benefits!
