An Australian owned International Freight Forwarder and Logistics Services provider with 30 years market presence seeking a seasoned Import Operations Customer Service Coordinator / Account Manager that will be based in their clients Brendale office. Client implant. Must have local experience to qualify! ABOUT THE ROLE: Arrange / co-ordinate import shipments. Liaise with shipping lines and agents for rates. Prepare file end to end operations for import files. Ensuring permits requirements are met and arrange if applicable Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements Serve as the link of communication between key clients and agents and suppliers. Expand the relationship with existing clients by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust. If required prepare reports of progress and forecasts to internal management team. Receive visitors, ensuring sign in process is followed. Use computer applications including software packages to complete tasks. Report any issues or concerns to management. Undertake duties in a safe and responsible manner. Any other duties as directed. ABOUT YOU: Seasoned Import Operations Customer Service Coordinator / Account Manager. Experience with CargoWise software and proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
