(Nurse Grade 6 Band 1) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available About your opportunity Provide advanced clinical care within the Emergency Nursing specialty area. Implement relevant components of the Nursing education operational plan at ward / unit / or program level. Facilitate progression of staff through the EPIQ program, including completion of clinical and written assessments, marking, and providing feedback Provide clinical leadership in more complex situations and the selection, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes. Provide bedside teaching and supervision of clinical practice. Requirements: Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus. Highly Desirable: Extensive experience in Emergency Department and a current Adult Life Support certificate. Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster. Commitment to completion of Quality projects within the Emergency Department linked to a National Standards. Maintenance of CN portfolio. * This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
