Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and execution of the organisation’s strategic vision, contributing to national MND policy and influencing sector-wide change. Advocacy & Engagement: Represent MND NSW at all levels—statewide, nationally, and, where relevant, internationally—to advocate for improved services and support. Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day functions and lead a high-performing team to deliver quality, person-centred care. Financial Stewardship: Lead sustainable financial management, reporting, budgeting, and fundraising strategies. Governance & Compliance: Support the Board in good governance, risk management, and adherence to statutory obligations. Fundraising & Partnerships: Strengthen funding streams through innovative campaigns, donor relations, and bequest management. You possess high emotional intelligence, political acumen, and the ability to influence and collaborate across a wide stakeholder base. Proven experience in senior leadership, ideally in a values-based, mission-driven organisation. Strong understanding of disability or health care services, including individualised funding models. Sound financial management and strategic planning skills. Exceptional communication, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. A leadership style that motivates, nurtures, and unites staff and volunteers. A commitment to advocacy, equity, and client-centred service delivery. Relevant tertiary qualifications (business, finance, health or human services) or equivalent experience. What We Offer A deeply meaningful leadership opportunity within a respected, community-based organisation. Competitive salary and access to full salary packaging, which can include provision of a vehicle for business and personal use. A supportive, values-driven culture where your impact truly matters.
