Mental Health & Disability Support Worker – South Ripley (SIL) We are seeking an experienced Mental Health and Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide consistent support for a client living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting in South Ripley. This role offers regular shifts with one client in their home and family environment, focusing on daily living, wellbeing, and positive engagement. Key Responsibilities Support the client with meal preparation, household tasks, and personal wellbeing Implement and follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) , including managing restrictive practices Provide safe, person-centred care including epilepsy management Engage with the client’s interests such as Marvel, anime, and computer gaming Shift Pattern (2-week rotating roster) Week 1 Tuesday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm sleepover (until 6:00–7:30am) Wednesday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm sleepover (until 6:00am) Week 2 Tuesday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm sleepover (until 6:00–7:30am) Wednesday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm sleepover (until 6:00am) Please note: Non-smokers only due to client health needs. Clear, neutral communication preferred. Pay Rates (SCHADS Award Level E3.1 – Casual) Base hourly rate : $35.15 Afternoon shift (ends 8pm–midnight): $38.67 Active night shift (starts before 6am or ends after midnight): $39.37 Saturday : $49.21 Sunday : $63.27 Public holiday : $77.33 Sleepover allowance as per award Requirements Minimum 12 months’ experience in mental health or disability support Skilled in PBSPs, restrictive practices, and epilepsy management Current First Aid & CPR , NDIS Worker Screening , and Blue Card Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety and You module Why Join Us?
