The Role This role is a mix of Credit Officer/Accounts Receivable and Payroll Support. In simple terms, you’ll help the firm get paid on time by clients and make sure your people get paid correctly and on time. You don’t need to be a payroll guru already, though experience in this area will be highly regarded. The role is predominantly AR/Credit Control, with extra Payroll Support. If you’ve got solid AR or Credit Control experience and are wanting to learn more about the payroll side, they will support you with training. What you’ll be doing Chasing and receipting payments, sorting out queries, and sending statements/invoices Keeping accurate records and handling collections/dispute resolution General correspondence (letters of demand, acknowledgment of debt, etc) Uploading invoices into client billing portals Cash receipting Initiating trust transfers and write-offs Act as the main point of contact between staff and the external payroll provider, ensuring all payroll-related queries are managed efficiently Working with our external payroll provider to make sure staff get paid smoothly and on time Supporting HR and Finance to resolve payroll queries and keep employee info up to date Assisting with onboarding, terminations and regular pay cycles What they’re looking for Experience in accounts receivable, credit control or collections Some exposure to payroll (and the willingness to learn) Great communication and problem-solving skills A team player who’s organised, reliable and happy to juggle different tasks Why join them?
