Construction Manager Construction Leader Permanent | Full-Time | 2:2 Roster | 12-Hour Day Shifts Are you an experienced Construction Manager looking for your next challenge on a high-profile Construction / Rail project? About the Role This is a pivotal leadership role working back-to-back with another Construction Manager on site, supporting the delivery of a major civil program of works that’s entering the commissioning phase. You’ll oversee up to 40–50 personnel, including subcontractors and service providers, ensuring construction activities meet design, quality, safety, and compliance requirements. The role is site based, with a focus on planning, stakeholder management, and driving delivery across civil, signalling installation, and associated works. This is an on-going contrac t to permanent position, working for a business that has been a key delivery partner on major infrastructure projects, across Australia. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities across commissioning and delivery phases. Manage multiple test teams, ensuring compliance with design specifications, client standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor construction plans, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, service providers, and internal teams (40–50 personnel). Partner with key stakeholders and internal project managers to ensure smooth project delivery. Manage resourcing schedules, rosters, and payroll timesheet approvals. Review and negotiate variations within project scope. Prepare project performance reports and updates for senior leadership. Ensure HSE standards are implemented and adhered to at all times. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent). Strong track record as a Construction Manager delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Excellent stakeholder management experience across clients, subcontractors, and service providers. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365) and MS Project. Ability to manage and lead large teams in high-compliance environments. Civil, signalling, or rail construction experience highly regarded (rail background preferred but not essential). Why Join?
