This position combines elements of data analysis, modelling and stakeholder management to contribute to IHACPA's strategic goals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design, implement, and evaluate changes to health and aged care pricing in Australia. The key duties of the position include Understanding and analysing data collected from public hospitals, private hospitals, aged care facilities, and other government bodies to design statistical models and answer complex policy questions Providing input into research development questions for cost and pricing models used to fund public hospitals and aged care services Providing specialist advice to various IHACPA working groups, managing relationships, and working with stakeholders on technical issues Preparing analytic working papers and technical documentation to communicate technical issues to key stakeholders Supporting the IHACPA Executive in explaining the analysis outcomes, activity based funding results and other technical issues to external stakeholders Collaborating with other sections on IHACPA's broader work program.
