The School Curriculum and Standards Division provides administrative and secretariat services for and implements the decisions of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority). The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society. Role overview Located in the Curriculum, Assessment and Strategic Policy Directorate, the Principal Consultant, Secondary – Curriculum and Assessment provides leadership in the development and review of curriculum, assessment, and standards support materials for Years 7–12. The role also oversees processes and deliverables associated with adopting and/or adapting the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 for Humanities and Social Sciences (Years 7–10), with a particular focus on Modern History in Years 11–12.
