Description As an Equipment Evaluation Specialist for ANZ, you will be engaging with commercial teams to drive new business volume and develop strategies to finance new asset classes. You are responsible for evaluating, reviewing, and researching various types of equipment to accurately determine market dynamics and asset values. You will be working closely with sales, customers, and dealers to provide solutions to assist in the development of new business volume in existing programs, and the development of new programs. In addition, you are responsible for reviewing and analysing current portfolios with a view to increase performance and ensure adherence to Global Asset Management policies. You will be reporting to the EurAsia Regional Asset Manager. This role delivers asset expertise to support both origination activities and risk management of the existing and future portfolio for Food, Agriculture and Outdoors (FA&O) equipment. It is a proactive role focused on working closely with the commercial teams within the FA&O sectors to identify asset financing opportunities and progress those to closure using residual risk and asset backed structures. In addition, you will be responsible for working closely with the local commercial and /or C&R team members to support asset evaluation needs on an ad hoc basis for both new business and distressed customers. Day to day: Develop and align working relationships with Program Management, Sales, and New Business Development to identify and pursue commercial opportunities and then execute them to delivery. Develop and implement an Asset Management strategy for selected accounts that drives new lease originations and residual risk income. Develop and provide policy and training to regional teams across ANZ to drive and align policy initiatives interdepartmentally between credit, sales, and asset management. Keep up to date with the equipment that our vendor partners manufacture and sell, along with their competitors. Providing the business unit with updates on new product launches and market developments within the FA&O sectors. Be the first point of contact for all OLV, RV, price check and asset approval requests in ANZ for the business unit, keeping RV/OLV tables updated. Prepare Vendor Reports and Ad Hoc reports for review by the Asset Management Committee. Work with Local Asset Sales teams on remarketing portfolio assets at end of lease. Liaising with third party asset valuators and other DLL Asset (Evaluators) Managers and challenging assumptions where appropriate. Research and review of various countries, local business practices and customs, markets, etc. that may impact asset values across ANZ. Knowledge or experience with industry asset valuation techniques and processes Experience in working with commercial teams Must have excellent communication, analytical and reporting skills Ability to bring a creative and innovative perspective with the ability to execute Genuine interest in and relevant knowledge of the Food, Agriculture and Outdoors sector and the commercial operations within it.
