Now as we rapidly race towards Christmas the team have reviewed the forecast of orders and would like to source externally for a skilled compliance /business manager to manage the running of project administration, with an compliance stance safeguarding policy and procedure for each project. With your compliance, WHS, Policy and Project administration skillset you day would involve the below responsibilities, Collaborate with the Administration Manager to oversee a office team and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Provide project administration support, including planning, documentation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and tracking Job Cost and project progress.Support core administrative functions, including records management, scheduling, reporting, and document control, to maintain streamlined business processes. Oversee and assist where necessary financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, Job Costing, and Financial Reporting. Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory obligations, including BAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance requirements. Coordinate and manage the development and maintenance of compliance systems aligned with WHS legislation, Workplace Relations and HR regulations, including Taxation, Superannuation, contractual obligations, and company policies. Assist with compliance audits, risk assessments, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support policy and procedure oversight by helping develop, implement, and communicate organisational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. Assist managers with reporting, proposals, and compliance documentation for projects. Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and professional presentation in all communications. Work independently and collaboratively within the team. Proactively follow directives while applying initiative to streamline procedures. THE ESSENTIALS Diploma or Degree in Business Management (preferred, not essential) or equivalent business experience. Experience as a Senior Office Administrator or Bookkeeper in a similar role within the Civil Construction or Transport industries (preferred). Knowledge of WHS legislation, Workplace Relations, and HR regulatory frameworks. Proficient in MYOB, Acumatica (or similar accounting software), and advanced MS Office. Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail. Motivated, professional, and proactive, with the ability to adapt to varied and fast-paced projects.
