Participant: Our Participant is a male who suffered a Spinal Cord Injury and is currently looking for Support Workers to join his team in Tumbi Umbi, NSW. Current Roster: (Please note, the current roster only requires one day a week to be filled, however more shifts may be available if staff are on leave or unwell) Thursday - 0800 - 1000 Key Responsibilities: Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning Assistance with meal preparation and grocery shopping Assistance with daily Health & Rehab exercises Community access Supervision during self-transfers Assistance with setting up for morning routine Pay rates: Day Shift - $45 p/h Afternoon $ 49.50 per hour Saturday $ 63 per hour Sunday $ 81 per hour Requirements: Experience with spinal cord injuries / brain injury or other high complex care participants Prior experience with pressure injuries Manual handling experience Current First Aid & CPR National Police Clearance NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check Full Australian working rights Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times Drivers licence and reliable vehicle is a must If you, or someone you may know, are interested, apply now!
