A growing company that supports employee’s development THE ROLE Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods Lead and coordinate team activities, including housekeeping inspections and toolbox meetings Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies Collaborate with external suppliers and internal departments including but not limited to Maintenance, Production , Supply Chain and Accounts Maintain high standards of housekeeping and customer service Empower and guide the team to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment Manage inventory flow, including freight coordination and backload dispatch Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and ERP system updates Identify and implement process improvements and technology enhancements Prepare inventory documentation for audits, cycle counts, and customer requests Handle Dangerous Goods declaration paperwork Resolve invoice queries and ensure equipment pre-starts are completed WHAT DO I NEED Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence Minimum 8 years’ experience in a warehousing role within the mining industry (required) Current Forklift Licence Certificate in Storage and Handling of Dangerous Goods (desirable) Chain or Responsibility certificate (desirable) Certificate III in Warehouse & Distribution (desirable) Proficient computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite, specifically Excel and Word Experience with an ERP such as Pronto Knowledge of WHS Legislation and Understanding of Dangerous Goods Legislation Knowledge of stock storage requirements and industry products relevant to gold mining Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence teams effectively Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in a safe and efficient manner Excellent communication skills, integrity, and ethical behaviour along with values that are aligned to the company’s core values A proactive and solutions-focused individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and strong organisational skills to respond effectively to changing priorities The Westgold Offer: A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer A range of benefits including: Performance based bonus Group salary continuous insurance A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.
