Resource Recovery Officer – Merriwa Permanent Part-Time (20 hours per week) The Role: Council is currently seeking someone who enjoys working with people, brings a positive attitude to the team, and is reliable, motivated, and ready to contribute. The role of Resource Recovery Officer sits within the Sustainability team and will provide a high level of customer service and undertake general facility operation and maintenance duties. (e.g. Certificate III Waste Management) - Access to long service leave after 5 years of continuous service - Flexible work arrangements (where possible) and reward program What we need from you: The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and have the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently as required. They will also have experience in the operation and maintenance of hand tools and minor mechanical equipment as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service.
