Description About the role: Seymour College invites applications for an inspiring and dedicated Drama and Creative Arts Teacher. This permanent role is offered at 1.0 FTE, commencing Term 1, 2026. The key responsibilities are to: Design and deliver engaging Drama and Creative Arts lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Seymour College’s Learning Framework. Facilitate rich learning experiences that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Develop and implement assessments that promote understanding and reflection, providing timely and constructive feedback. Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary and problem-based learning experiences. Skills And Experiences About you: The successful candidate will have: Relevant academic qualifications and a current South Australian Teacher Registration. Proven experience teaching Drama and Creative Arts at a secondary level. Strong knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the College. Current certifications, including Working with Children Check, RRHAN-EC, and First Aid in an education setting (HLTAID012).
