The ideal candidate should have a strong background in painting, surface preparation, and coating applications. Responsibilities Surface Preparation Assess and prepare surfaces before painting (cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes). Apply primers, sealers, and base coats to achieve a long-lasting and durable finish. Mask and cover areas to protect surfaces not being painted. Painting & Finishing Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and coatings according to project specifications. Use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to achieve high-quality finishes. Ensure even application and adherence to industry standards. Technical Work Choose the right tools, materials, and techniques based on surface types. Work with various types of paint, including water-based, oil-based, and specialty coatings. Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations. Inspection & Adjustments Conduct final inspections to ensure smooth and professional finishes. Perform necessary touch-ups and corrections. Maintain detailed records of completed work and materials used. Workplace Operations Keep tools and equipment in excellent condition. Follow workplace safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Provide on-site services as required. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Painter in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and materials. Ability to work with various coatings and application methods. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
