Job Description Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa are looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance department on a full-time basis. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance management requirements at Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead and execute the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance. Provide hands-on support by performing repairs and maintenance as required across the property. Supervise and manage key service areas including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services, and approved contractor works. Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) best practices at all times. Oversee stock control and supplier management to maintain efficient operations. Prepare quotes, schedule, and manage Capital Expenditure (Capex) requests. Support the Hotel Manager in the recruitment and development of the Maintenance department team. Shift Details: Monday to Friday 6:30am start time (flexible for the right candidate) Afterhours caretaker on site – weekend/afterhours calls may be required on an ad hoc basis Lead and manage a team of two Maintenance Officers
